Concert Halls
Page 3. Every concert of an artist is a unique event. An ephemeral experience, a moment. Yet, many of them stay in the memory and the heart of the public and the artist himself. Every concert is an exchange of the energy between the artist and listeners, influenced by many factors, often very personal, difficult to grasp. Each of these moments has its unique soul and can never be truly re-lived, even if one attempts to capture it on a record. Ingolf Wunder performed in dozens of countries, hundreds of cities, often multiple times in the same venues. Here are some of the concert halls on his artistic journey.

Ingolf Wunder performed in Europe, Asia and both Americas, including such prestigious halls as Musikverein Vienna, Carnegie Hall (NYC), Berlin Philharmonie, Queen Elizabeth Hall (London), Tonhalle Zurich, Rudolfinum (Prague), Moscow Conservatory, Mariinsky Theater (St. Petersburg), Suntory Hall (Tokyo), LOTTE Concert Hall in Seoul, National Concert Hall in Taipei etc.

Torun's Artus Court
This medieval hall is a one-of-a-kind venue in the heart of Torun, Poland. It is a Renaissance-style edifice that has been restored to highlight the city's rich cultural heritage. It's one of the most beautiful concert halls in Poland. Krystian Zimerman performed here among many other great musicians.
Recklinghausen
Recklinghausen's Ruhr Festival Theatre is an impressive venue holding over 1000 people, creating an enthralling setting for performances.
Friedrichshafen Graf Zeppelin Haus
This historic structure was built in the 1930s as a Zeppelin hangar. It is now used as a venue for cultural and musical activities. Bob Dylan, the famed folk singer, is one of the most well-known performers to have performed here.
Santiago de Compostela
The Galician Auditorio is located in the center of Santiago de Compostela, Spain and boasts with cutting-edge acoustics, making it a perfect venue for musical events. Plácido Domingo, the famed opera singer, is one of the most prominent singers to have performed here. Ingolf Wunder presented a recital with works by Chopin in this hall.

Historisches Rathaus, Münster
This ancient edifice, which dates back to the 16th century, is one of Münster's most magnificent locations. Its gorgeous architecture and rich cultural past make it a favorite cultural event location. Murray Perahia, a world-renowned classical pianist, is one of the most well-known performers that have performed here.
Espoo Cultural Centre
This contemporary cultural center in Espoo has a state-of-the-art music hall and a range of performing rooms. It is the home of the Espoo city orchestra Tapiola Sinfonietta and holds 800 seats.
Ishikawa Ongakudo Music & Performance Hall
This spectacular music hall is located in Kanazawa's core and is known for its breathtaking traditional architecture and superb acoustics. Seiji Ozawa, a world-renowned conductor, is one of the most well-known artists that have performed here.
The Philharmonic Hall, Trento
The Philharmonic Hall in Trento is a must-see location for music enthusiasts, thanks to its cutting-edge facilities and superb acoustics. The building was built and inaugurated with a concert on 30 May 1905. Many wonderful musicians have been playing there ever since.

Vladimir Ashkenazy is one of the most well-known artists to have performed here.
Musical Gardens at the Royal Castle
The Royal Castle's Musical Gardens Festival takes place in a lovely outdoor setting, surrounded by Warsaw's old town, hosting some of Warsaw's most exquisite classical music performances. One of its most famous performers was pianist Martha Argerich.
Messehalle Klagenfurt
It is a big venue in the south of Austria, which hosts among other big events, also classical music. The Vienna Philharmonics and many other great artists performed there over the years and it also hosts TEDx conferences. Ingolf Wunder gave his TEDx talk there in 2019.
Kawasaki Symphony Hall
Japan's Kawasaki Symphony Hall is known for its outstanding acoustics and has hosted some of Japan's big profile musical events. Itzhak Perlman, a world-renowned violinist, has performed on its stage, delighting spectators with his brilliant performance.
University Tübingen
The University of Tübingen in Germany features a magnificent concert hall that has hosted countless performances and recitals by well-known artists. From Sokolov to Barenboim, many well known artists played here.
August-Everding-Saal
Grünwald's August-Everding-Saal is a compact music theater, which is known for its high-quality performances and intimate atmosphere. It has hosted renowned musicians of the highest caliber. Grünwald also was the location of Carlos Kleiber's private home.
Madetoja Concert Hall
Oulu Music Centre's Madetoja Concert Hall in Finland is a contemporary concert hall recognized for its creative architecture and outstanding acoustics. It has featured concerts by some of the world's most famous musicians, including pianist Leif Ove Andsnes, who performed here in 2017.
Auditorium Grafenegg
The Auditorium Grafenegg in Austria is a spectacular concert theater housed next to a beautifully renovated castle, is a must-see for classical music fans. It has hosted musician Rudolf Buchbinder, who was also behind the creation of this performance venue.
Nagaragawa Convention Center

Ingolf Wunder played there in 2001, 2 years after starting to play the piano, as he was invited to come to Hong Kong to perform at the Vienna Opera Ball hosted in Hong Kong.
Kraków Philharmonic
Known for its powerful performances, the Kraków Philharmonic is one of Poland's leading symphony orchestras. The Kraków Philharmonic has a unique and beautiful concert hall, in which Ingolf Wunder not only appeared several times in Recital and as a soloist since 2006 but where he also had made conducting diploma in 2012. The music academy in Krakow decided to hold Ingolf Wunder's conducting diploma within 2 sold out public performances where Ingolf Wunder played and conducted Chopin Piano Concerto No.1 and performed Schubert's Unfinished Symphony as a conductor.
Klopeiner See Open Air
Ingolf Wunder grew up on the idyllic lake 'Klopeiner See' in Austria. In the summer of 2010, he played literally "on" the lake in a truly special performance.
Le Corum / Auditorium Berlioz
This music hall is located in the centre of Montpellier, France, and is noted for its gorgeous architecture and superb acoustics. The Le Corum / L'Auditorium Berlioz is a must-see for music fans, and it has played host to some of the world's most famous musicians. Ingolf Wunder played there amongst others with the famous conductor Jerzy Semkow.

Yongin Concert Hall

Bad Schallerbach Festival
During his studies in Linz, Austria, Ingolf Wunder played one of his first piano recitals within this festival. Over the years it has grown to a very important Austrian festival, where world class names appear regularly.
